Stewards 2009 8U, 9U & 12U All-Stars Go to WNC State
Championship
The Stewards of the Game 7U, 8U, 9U, 10U and 12U All-Stars competed in the 2009
Cal Ripken Baseball (5-12 division of Babe Ruth Baseball) Area All-Star
tournaments June 25-29. The 8U team played in the Area 3 tournament in Welcome,
NC and finished runner-up and will move on to the WNC State Championship in
Waxhaw, NC July 3-7. The 9U team competed in the Area 2 Tournament in Hudson,
NC and finished runner-up as well and will advance to the WNC State Championship
in Polkville, NC July 10-13. The 12U team traveled to Bunker Hill, NC to play
in the Area 2 tournament and went 3-0 to be crowned the champions and will now
play in the 12U 50-70 WNC Championship in Mount Airy, NC July 10-14.
Also advancing are the 11u, 13u, 15u and 16u teams! Congratulations to our 2009 Stewards of the Game Baseball All-Stars!
