Canned Food Drive for Former Pillowtex Employees

Stewards of the Game Fall Baseball Players will be going door-to-door in the Wynfield Subdivision in Huntersville on Sunday, September 7th to collect canned goods for the Pillowtex families who have been displaced by the closing of the plant in Kannapolis.

Players and families are to meet at the Wynfield Clubhouse at 2:00 for maps and directions.  Please bring pillowcases to collect the canned goods in.  Players should come dressed in their uniforms.  Wynfield residents have been notified via their neighborhood newsletter that we will be dropping by.
