Stewards of the Game requires all of our head and assistant coaches to complete a background check as well as attend a mandatory pre-season Coaches Meeting and Coaches Clinic prior to the start of each season. Because Stewards of the Game is a faith-driven league, our Head Coaches must affirm our belief statement, as we want to make certain that our head coaches have a faith foundation that is congruent with the life lessons we want to teach our kids. If we were a French class, we would want our head coaches to speak “French.”

Remember, however, that Stewards of the Game coaches are volunteers. They are not perfect, and we do not expect them to be. Over the years, Stewards of the Game coaches develop an unspoken code of accountability with one another. Stewards of the Game is committed to doing all we can to provide your child with well-equipped coaches in a fun and safe environment.
